Amis d’Anvers has the right to adjust prices, involve additional costs and change product information such as product pictures and offers without notice. If a price is incorrect, Amis d’Anvers may cancel and refund the purchase. Also, products are subject to availability, including after an order has been placed.

Amis d’Anvers reserves the right for any errors that may appear on the page and cannot guarantee that all pictures accurately reflect the product’s true appearance. All pictures should hence be considered as illustrations only.

Please note that in case an order is shipped to a delivery address outside the EU, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are collected when the shipment reaches your delivery address. You will be responsible for the payment of such import duties and taxes. Amis d’Anvers has no control over these charges and, since these charges are different for different countries, we cannot predict their amount. We therefore advise you to contact your local customs office for further information.
To protect your personal information, Amis d’Anvers takes reasonable precautions and follows industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Therefore, the Amis d’Anvers website is hosted on a Shopify Inc platform which is encrypted through a ‘Secure Socket Layer’ (SSL) technology that automatically creates a secure communication between the buyer and Amis d’Anvers by encrypting all data transmission. You will recognise a secured web environment by the ‘https://’ at the beginning of the website’s address.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by ‘Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard’ (PCI-DSS) as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like ‘Visa’, ‘Mastercard’, ‘American Express’ and ‘Discover’. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by the Amis d’Anvers store and its service providers. Your credit or debit card data is stored only as long as it is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. When paying by credit or debit card starting conditions apply as soon as the card transaction is approved. In the event that no payment has been received after submitting your order, Amis d’Anvers may automatically cancel your order.
Your watch is water resistant up to 5ATM. This means that it is splash proof and hence suitable for everyday use. The watch is however not suitable for intensive swimming, snorkeling, surfing or specific water related work. Damages under these circumstances are not covered by our warranty policy. Please always make sure the crown is pushed in completely when the watch is in contact with water.
The Amis d’Anvers warranty policy is automatically in effect upon purchase of any of our products. We grant a two (2) year warranty period on all our watches. This warranty is only applicable for the watch movement and does hence not cover any damage to the glass or the straps, except for obvious manufacturing errors. Amis d’Anvers will bear all the shipment costs related to returning damaged watches covered by this warranty policy. The buyer should always reach out to the customer service team (firstname.lastname@example.org) first before sending back the damaged item(s) so that this team can provide the buyer with further instructions, specific to the warranty policy and the severeness of the damage suffered.

Amis d’Anvers offers free shipping internationally for all its watches. Deliveries are made in cooperation with the postal services and their partners. All mentioned delivery terms such as shipping times should be understood as estimated delivery terms and cannot be understood as final delivery terms or guaranteed delivery terms. In case a shipment still has not been delivered at the delivery address of the buyer (or the pick-up point, depending on the chosen postal service), the buyer has to inform the Amis d’Anvers customer service team (firstname.lastname@example.org) within 7 days after the expected delivery date.
All orders received on a working day before 11 am (CEST) will be handled on that same day. The estimated delivery time for shipments within the EU is 1-5 working days. Shipments outside the EU will be delivered within 3-10 working days.
In case the buyer wishes to cancel his/her order, while the shipment of the buyer's order has already left the Amis d’Anvers warehouse, the costs of returning the shipment to Amis d’Anvers, including import taxes, duties or customs, will be borne by the buyer. Please note that gift cards and sales or promo items or non-returnable and non-refundable items. The terms of cancelling are further equal to the terms specified in the ‘Return Policy’ below.
You have the right to return any or all products you have purchased directly from our website within a 14-days trial period starting on the day after you received your item(s). Please bear in mind that the item(s) must be unused, in the new condition as you have received them and in their original undamaged packaging including all accessories delivered with the watch. The buyer is only allowed to unpack the ordered product as far as it is needed to be able to determine whether he/she wants to keep the product. The buyer may only handle and inspect the product in the same way that she/he would be allowed in a physical shop. Please note that gift cards and sales items or non-returnable and non-refundable items.
Products purchased directly from the Amis d’Anvers website must be returned to our warehouse for a full refund to be made; product(s) sold in a local retail store cannot be refunded via the Amis d’Anvers website. In returning the item(s) to our warehouse, please choose a secured parcel delivery service since all return shipments fully take place at the risk of the buyer. Also, bear in mind that the shipping costs including import taxes, duties or customs attached to returning any item(s) need to be paid by the buyer.
If you wish to evoke your trial period right, you must reach out to the Amis d’Anvers customer service team before sending back any item(s). After you have received an email confirmation of the customer service team approving your refund, please send the item(s) together with your initial proof of purchase to the following address: Amis d’Anvers BVBA / Kapelsesteenweg 292 / 2930 Brasschaat / Belgium.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment as soon as reasonably possible and in any event within 14 days after having received and approved the return shipment. In case any import taxes, duties or customs (administrative) costs are due, because the shipment has been imported into the buyer's shipment country of choice, these costs will be borne by the buyer. Upon crediting the buyer, Amis d’Anvers will then deduct the import taxes, duties and/or custom (administrative) costs applicable.
If you haven’t received a refund within 14 days after Amis d’Anvers has received and approved your returned item(s), please check your bank account again and contact your credit card company as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you still haven’t received your refund yet, please contact the customer service team (email@example.com).
It is important that you as a customer carefully check your item(s) when you receive your shipment in order to verify that the products are not damaged and indeed match the order you have made. If your product is damaged in transport you must report this as soon as possible to the carrier. If you receive your item and see that it is damaged or does not match whatever you have ordered, you are requested to contact the Amis d’Anvers customer service team (firstname.lastname@example.org) within 24 hours after receiving the product.
